Counselor
Keisha McCray serves as the professional school counselor. Keisha is a native of Atlanta, Georgia from the United States and this is her 18th year in education. She is passionate about helping young people recognize their potential and creating goals and plans to reach them. Keisha held several leadership positions in the field of school counseling, however the most important position is being a servant educator and advocate for students. She strongly believes in collaboration and teamwork.
The NAIS Counsellors ensure all students receive the necessary social and emotional support to recognize and unlock their potential. The counselling program promotes learning and provides a developmentally appropriate and accessible program for all members of the NAIS community. Counsellors collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and community members as part of a support team that optimizes student achievement. Counsellors maintain an ongoing commitment to professional growth by staying current in best practices and participating in program review and implementation.
