NAIS adheres to the Dubai Inclusive Education Policy Framework (2017 & 2019) and incorporates best practices in line with legislation such as:

· Federal Law No. (29) of 2006 concerning the Rights of People of Determination
· Law No. (2) of 2014 concerning the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the Emirate of Dubai
· Executive Council Resolution No. (2) of 2017 Regulating Private Schools in the Emirate of Dubai
· General Rules for the Provision of Special Education Programs and Services (Public & Private Schools
L Delivery of Learning
Our commitment to high-quality recruitment and continuous professional development ensures that our teachers provide differentiated learning opportunities for all students. This approach ensures that all students have full access to the school curriculum and that barriers to learning are removed. NAIS inclusion students actively participate in all school social activities and represent the school in art exhibitions. Gifted and talented students enjoy participating in national and international competitions.
U Parent Involvement
We consider parents vital to the progress of our students. Continuous communication and partnership between the school and parents are key to removing social barriers. We have an open-door policy and encourage parents to work collaboratively with the school community and the Inclusion Team.
S Inclusion Team
Our Inclusion Team, comprising the Principal, Vice Principals, Head of Inclusion, Inclusion Governor, Special Education Teachers, and a team of highly-trained learning support assistants, ensures that all students receive high-quality teaching and learning support. The team collaborates with external agencies to provide equitable opportunities for all students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
I Admission
NAIS welcomes all students, regardless of their abilities or backgrounds, to join our caring and inspiring learning environment. Admission is not conditional on the submission of a medical diagnosis, and we have effective transition processes in place for all children. Sharing educational history during the admission process is essential to ensure appropriate assessment, educational planning, and resourcing.
O The STARS Life Skills Program
Our special program for students of determination enriches their life skills and prepares them for the modified diploma. Students study functional math, language, foundational science and technology, self-help skills, safety rules, money management, basic business skills, social and communication manners, and executive functioning.
